Debt Collector, Mann Bracken Closes Its Doors!

Close the door, the operation is down.  Mann Bracken, an enormous debt collector lawfirm recently shut down.

Since Mann Bracken sues most of its debtors, and had thousands of thousands of open lawsuits pending, Courts are utterly confused.  One Maryland Judge took drastic measures and according to the Baltimore Sun, dismissed "tens of thousands" of lawsits in which Mann Bracken was involved.  This is a bit unusual since the original creditor could simply hire a new lawyer to represent their interests.  Sounds like this Judge maybe tired of these debt collection lawsuits.

If you were paying Mann Bracken on a debt, you can contact the original creditor to confirm that it will honor any settlement agreements you had with Mann Bracken.  Of course, be sure to get this in writing. OR, if you are in the Pennsylvania area, contact Jeff Suher for help.
