Jeff Suher files a FDCPA lawsuit - find out what this local woman went through after being sued for a debt she didn't owe....


A local Pittsburgh woman, Vicki Higgins, filed a FDCPA lawsuit against a debt collectoion lawfirm and Target. 

Patenaude & Felix, a Carnegie debt collection firm, was attempting to collect a Target debt, a Target debt that Vicki Higgins did not owe.  When trying to clear her name, the consumer even contacted Target and confirmed that this account did not belong to her and she did not owe the debt.  Then why did they file suit against Vicki Higgins?

Many of this think that this could never happen to us.  But, it can....and it does.

Jeff Suher and Vicki Higgins were interviewed by the Pittsburgh Tribune Review and explain just how often these things do happen.
