Q: I just received a debt collection letter.  What should I do?

A: If you received a debt collection letter, contact Jeff or a consumer attorney in your area.  You can find an attorney in your local area at www.naca.net.

It is very important to have an attorney review the debt collection letter to make sure that there are no FDCPA violations within the letter.  Also, make sure you do so immediately as there is only a one year statute of limitations for FDCPA cases.
